As Chief Executive Officer, Michael Speranza oversees all aspects of Avolin’s operations. He works closely with his leadership team to define mission and strategies, drive product innovation and champion customer success. He spends time with customers and partners to understand their needs and ensure Avolin solutions align to meet their objectives.
Prior to Avolin, Michael served as the SVP/General Manager of the Vertical Business Applications group within Aptean, which subsequently became Avolin. He was previously the SVP/Managing Director at IPC Systems, a global software and services provider where he oversaw successive years of organic and inorganic growth and two successful exits.
Michael has over 20 years of experience in the B2B technology sector. He is a creative, strategic visionary who has led start-up and private equity companies through growth and transition into alternative business lines. Early in his career, Michael worked at the Jet Propulsion Lab and has worked on two successful missions to Mars, including the first Mars’ rover, Sojourner.
Tera Ricker is the Senior Vice President of Operations for Avolin, working to ensure the business strategy and financial performance is aligned with the human capital strategy. She also guides the various operations teams to support their key initiatives to drive the execution required for success. Tera is passionate about transformation, change management and continuous improvement. She has spent her three-decade career acquiring knowledge and expertise in various functions such as program management, quality and process design, IT leadership, HR leadership, acquisition integration, and strategy execution.
In her spare time, Tera enjoys the sounds of a great eclectic playlist, keeping her kids on track to achieve their expected greatness and trying to catch a few brief moments of peace and quiet with her husband.
As Vice President of Customer Success at Avolin, Peush Upadhya takes a cross-functional and collaborative approach to lead customers to success. He is driven by a mindset of continuous improvement, assisting customers maximize the potential of their solutions to obtain even greater value in their investments and reach their business goals. Peush has over 15 years’ experience working with customers and delivering projects in Professional Services and Customer Support.
Peush has never lived in a city more than five years. He has moved across India and the Middle East, from coast to coast in the United States, and spent two years in London. In addition to the opportunity to gain a more in-depth experience of each area’s unique personality, he believes that change provides interesting challenges and facilitates a new perspective.
As Vice President of North American Sales for Avolin, Eric Valentin works alongside product management to develop go-to-market strategies, leads the account management team focused on direct sales and manages activities for the North American partner channel. He is passionate about developing long-term relationships with his customers to deliver the full value of their technology solutions. Eric has almost thirty years of experience in CRM and front office technology in a wide range of roles including customer support, product development and implementation, and he leverages that background as he works to ensure the success of his customers and partners.
Eric and his family live on one of Minnesota’s ten thousand lakes. The Valentins are very active and enjoy spending time outdoors and on the water, hiking, boating and fishing.
As Regional Vice President of Sales, Jacky Kha leads the account management team focussed on direct sales and our relationships with key channel and MSP partners across EMEA and APAC regions. He is focussed on helping our customers and partners maximize the long-term value they gain from utilizing our solutions. Prior to his role at Avolin, Jacky has held senior enterprise sales and consulting roles in the APAC region at companies including Aptean, CDC Software and Eclipse.
Jacky is a nomadic soul who loves to travel and relishes the opportunity to experience local cuisine wherever he goes.
Simon Gilford is Vice President of Marketing at Avolin, with responsibility for marketing programs, brand management and corporate communications. He has 30 years’ experience, having held international senior management positions in marketing communications and field marketing at a number of IT & Telecoms organizations. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Global Marketing at Aptean, where he directed major customer, prospect and partner marketing initiatives.
Away from work, Simon is a keen Nordic Walker and loves nothing more than exploring the beautiful countryside around his rural home, walking poles in hand.
Tim Rentowl is Vice President of Product at Avolin, with responsibility for the Vision Inventory Management product line which helps manufacturers, distributors and retailers ensure the right inventory is in the right place, at the right time to maximize profitability. He is a seasoned product manager with over 20 years’ international supply chain and inventory management experience. Most recently, he held senior positions at Aptean and spent 10 years with Technicolor managing international supply chain solutions for global home entertainment brands.
Tim is a keen cook and having lived in the US for 8 years, the “pit master”, as he likes to be known, brought all 7 of his BBQs back home to the UK with him.
As Vice President of Product Management at Avolin, Stuart Featherston oversees product strategy and direction for both CoreTrac and Verdiem product lines. In addition, he has responsibility for Avolin’s renewals organization and the highly successful Premier Support program which gives our customers a range of support options and benefits to meet their individual requirements. Stuart has wide ranging experience in B2B software organization across product management, operations and marketing including 10 years’ with CoreTrac, Inc.
As a new father he longs for the day when he can get back out on the golf course far more often that he can right now!
Jaime Luther is the Vice President of Sales Operations for Avolin and is responsible for leading the company’s sales processes, procedures, analysis and reporting. She also supports and enables teams across the organization and acts as liaison between Avolin and centralized functions which ensures our staff can solely focus on our customers. Prior to Avolin, Jaime has held a number of senior business operations roles at large technology companies including Aptean, NCR Corporation and Radiant Systems.
Apart from her love of wine, Jaime also enjoys spending quality time with her family and dogs in the great outdoors.
As Vice President of Engineering and Operations, Valentyn Kozhevnykov leads Avolin’s engineering and cloud operations teams. His key areas of focus include the continuous development and delivery of new software releases across the Avolin portfolio and ensuring our cloud offerings deliver exceptional value to our customers. Valentyn has always been passionate about software technical excellence, cloud computing and theory of singularity and he has over 20 years’ experience in R&D, project management and senior leadership roles across a range of markets. Prior to Avolin he was VP of Software Engineering at ESW Capital and led the global technology team at Code Worldwide.
As a busy father of 3 Valentyn does not have lots of free time but does try and tend to his 1.5 hectares fruit trees and will, one day, eventually get back to restoring his classic car – a VAZ-2106.
